Vitamin B12 Inj allergy
I have some kind of skin allergy which results in red patches randomly all over body. In morning i can see those patches however till night it is less. Can it be possible that due to Vit B12 injections, I am having this allergy? Because it never happened with me earlier. After certain period from which i had completed this course of Vitamin B12 injection, I have observed this issue. However i felt much relief after taking antihistamines but den doc reduced the dose & again i took inj as i had not suspected allergy from B12 & again after one day red patches increased in large amount all over body.

You are probably suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please contact me through online consult option for further details and treatment..
