Vitamin d deficiency.
A few months back,my lower (left) back started paining. The pain extended right to the little finger of the left leg. I got a blood test done. My vitamin d level was only 8/20. My physician told me that was the reason for the pain.i don't get much exposure to the sunlight. As i am in classes right from six in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. I had to sit that for long durations at a strech. I started consuming egg. But then i stopped. Now the pain is not continuous and whenever it starts paining (occasionally) it hurts a lot. Its from the lower back to the little finger. The pain feels like my nerve is being pulled.

Hey, Sensible sun exposure, especially between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm produces vitamin D in the skin that may last twice as long in the blood compared with ingested vitamin D. Foods thought to contain high amounts of vitamin D3 are oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and blue fish, as well as fortified milk and other dairy products. After correction of their vitamin D status with oral vitamin D, patients should have a repeat test of their 25(OH)D level to confirm that they are in the normal range.
