Vitamin D Deficiency
I had my Vit D levels tested as part of a preventive checkup. It was measured to be 14.19ng/ml. I have been prescribed Uprise D3 60k once a week for 6 weeks and Calcirol powder once a week for 6 weeks as well. I wasn't aware that Calcirol has 60k IUs as well. Just curious if this dose will lead to toxicity?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Both powder and tablets containg the same ingredient. You can take any one. Get adequate sun exposure daily. You need to get 20 minutes of sun exposure with atleast 20 percent of body area exposed before 1. You can also take inj. Uprise d3 6L once a week for 4 weeks. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
