Vitamin D supplement
Is it generally safe to take vit d 60,000 iu per week ? I am not able to go outside in sun that much due to lockdown and winter is also coming.

Daily dose of vitamin d3 2000 i.e 2k is good for preventing vitamin D deficiency. Daily dose of 2000 unit is safer then monthly 4 dose of 60000. And scientifically it is proven that daily dose gives good result compare to weekly dose Cost of vitamin D test is very high from 1500 to 5000.

Check your Vit D levels before continuing 60k vitamin D Excess Vit D can make you sick If sun exposure is not possible then you can take foods and drinks that have a lot of Vit D like milk ,yogurt with Vit D,fish and cereals if you have deficiency .

Check your vit d level once before taking the capsules.. if your vit d level is sufficient in the blood don't take medicine
