Is it safe to give Vitamin D3 400 IU/ml to my 2 year old everyday? I give her 1ml a day of the ultra d3 drops. The reason I ask is I have heard vitamin D over dose can cause toxicity.

Hi......, Vitamin D is important for bone and muscle health. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and phosphate from food...The main role of vitamin D in the body is to make sure there is enough calcium and phosphate to keep the bones healthy and strong..... Infants (less than one year old) need 400 IU a day....Children and adolescents need 400-600 IU a day....
