Vitcofol is recommended for 8 month baby
Hello,
My baby's weight is 7 kg now, his birth weight was 2.8 and his age is 7.5 month. So we visited one of pediatrician who told me that he is underweight and suggested to give him Iron syrup Vitcofol syrup 1.25 ml daily. But my baby is suffering from constipation. So my question is vitcofol is recommended by pediatrician? Also my baby is underweight?

Weight is average for age so nothing to worry.
Give him iron drops for 1-2 months and give home made semisolid diet.
