Vomitings during pregnanc
My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and she vomits a lot. Docter asked her to take ondasetron 1 in morning and evening but this tablet seems to have no effect. What should we do now to control her vomitings?
She wasn't puking for the first 12 weeks, only from 12th week her vomiting started and she vomits atleast 4 times a day

Go for her LFT Blood test. there are many other options if one is not working. give I/v fluid s by admitting her for few hrs

u should see what precipitates vomiting avoid that. sometimes long hours of starvation has to be avoided. clinlcal examination lab thyroid and urine test to rule out infection. if continous vomiting persists to break the cycle 10 % detrose iv drip helps. sometimes changing the brand of anti vomiting tablet does the trick.
