Was treatment correct?
Enlarged prostate. Able to urinate but bladder doesn’t empty completely. Dr inserted catheter and sent me home with it for at least ten days. Will call me for removal date. Dr is now vacation. Fill in doctor doesn’t return my or home nurse calls. Was this insertion essential at this time?

Yaaa, as he is suffering form BPH, and canther is essential only when retention of urine is present.
