Washing genitals
Is washing genitals by touching it allowed in celibacy? I am on spiritual practice and I used to do it with water just without touching it but today I washed it with soap.. Bcz I found lot of smegma out there.. Please say.. Thnx

Just like any other secretion, Smegma is also another body secretion. It is made up of oil and dead cells.
Uncleaned smegma can cause unpleasant odour and also irritation in the genitals. Since it is made up of oil sometimes water may not completely clean it, hence soap is a necessary.

Treat this secretion just like other secretion of the body and regularly clean genital parts to keep it in a hygienic state.
