Hi, is it ok to wear braces without x-ray taken first? M abit concern as my dentist just put on the braces without x-ray taken

X-rays are required before and after Orthodontic (Braces) treatment to study the case and to keep as a record. But its not mandatory to get the x-rays done in each and every case. In growing patients and surgical cases x-rays are must.

Hi, I have gone through your query, it's totally depends on experience of Dentist. X-ray is not must in every ortho case. Dependency may vary patient to patient.
