If you have a sedentary life also you can gain weight. You will have weight loss based on how many calories you burn. It is preferable that you concentrate on exercising and loosing weight rather than depending on diet alone as it will cause loss of weight but would make you have flabby skin, so it is preferable that you exercise. These lifestyle changes may help: - Drink lots of water and stay well hydrated at all times of the day(Aim to drink 2.5-3 liters of water everyday) - Don't skip meals, Eat healthy, clean and nutritious diet, Don't crash diet - Adults need upto 8 hours of sleep per night - Destress yourself with methods such as yoga/meditation. - Exercise regularly by doing exercises such as HIIT. If the problem persists even after months of exercising and following a proper diet, kindly visit an endocrinologist and rule out any underlying causes.
