Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help. Yes it's right. As body and mind are interlinked, emotional disturbance like depressive can trigger weight gains. Basically your appetite, disgesion, metabolism, hormones get affected by negative thoughts due to depression. Depression is a treatable problem if you ready to cooperate with treatment. Gaining weight could be due to various reasons.. It could be due to inactivity also. Visit a psychologist in your city personally for a better clarity and understanding about yourself.

It's not a myth. Depressive tendencies hamper our mental functions and physical activities at a large scale some times these tendencies affect our apetite and sleep also resulting into weight gain or loss. Proper treatment will prevent all these problems.
