Weight gain
My son is 80 days old, Breastfeed baby. He was 2.75kgs weight during birth. Now he is 4.75 kgs. Is this a proper weight gain.? Coz ppl blame me for his thin body mass. What is the proper duration that he should double the birth weight ?

He is doing ok! This is acceptable weight gain. Please download IAP growth charts app to track his weight and height. A single reading is not enough to draw a conclusion. Weight doubles usually by 5 months of age and triples by 1 year. Don't worry about what others are saying. Consult pediatrician if any doubt

Hi, Babies double their weight by 5 months. So the baby’s weight is normal. Nothing to worry. Don’t take other words to heart. Breast feed 3-4 hrly .
