If PCOD is treated, weight gain can be checked. Avoid high glycaemic index food like white rice, and maida and white sugar. Avoid milk products. Consume low glycaemic index foods like whole grains, Millets etc. Include gingely oil(unrefined), horsegram, papaya, pomegranate, sesame seeds, palm jagerry(karupatti in Tamil) in your diet. One hour of regular vigorous exercise is a must. Walking will not be sufficient.
