Please suggest weight gaining method for diabetic with reading 150-200. Regular medication in progress.

Hello.. Most of the times patients present with wt loss at the presentation of diabetes due to catabolic state of hyperglycemia.. Once your sugar get into control patients regains wt.. Actually in type 2 diabetes losing wt /keeping wt optimum is important to avoid insulin resistance and in terms  reducing diabetes medication requirements.. Even after fair glucose control u are still losing wt it could be due to other factors like medication induced, malabsorption, need to consult Endocrinologist for detailed history and examination and individualise therapy..!!!
