What can be the reason?
On 22 november my brother's heart beat touched 240bpm.he got hospitalised and got treatment .he was discharged in 3 days at normal 75bpm.now on8december his heartbeat touched 130bpm at rest.again he is hospitalised.doctors has said for a check up at indore.doctors have also recommended an operation for permanent solution.i want to know what is the reson for tachycardia?? What to do when heart rate goes 150+bpm.

Could be due to supra ventricular tachycardia.
