I got a cartilage piercing around 5 years ago and about a year ago a keloid started to form. In the beginning, I didn't really know that a keloid was forming, I thought it was just infected and needed a break from the earing, so I let it be and a keloid began to form. It's not that big and it doesn't hurt only occasional itchiness, rarely though. My question is, can I reduce the size of my keloid using silicone scar sheets/gels and using pressure earings?

Formation of keloid after cartilage piercing is common condition and usually if it is small it can be treated by intra lesional steroid infiltration. You may need to take injection every week for atleast 4 to 5 weeks.
