What causes trichollomania
Hi I have a 7 year old son who is diagnosed with compulsive obsessive disorder. He is already under treatment and the doctor has even mentioned he has a condition called Trichollomania because of his habit of pulling hair. Kindly let me know what can be the cause of this? is it related to the OCD?

People who have trichotillomania may also have other disorders, such as depression, anxiety or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Stress. Severely stressful situations or events may trigger trichotillomania in some people.
