Hello..It’s totally ok to do the Self Talk. This will help you to know yourself in a much better way..Nobody knows you better the way you do, its a good practice to question ourselves to help ourselves improve. I would like to ask you, to please maintain a Journal so that you can keep a track of how long you have spent time in doing it? Further I would like to know how is your health,your Routine,your Social Circle,Do you stay alone?Take Care.

This sounds like a variant of OCD. but it depends if you are also experiencing Auditary hallucinations, in which case, conditions like schizophrenia will have to be considered. It looks like your mind is full of thoughts and questions that you recognise are unnecessary, but you are unable to control them or get rid of them. This is a classical feature of OCD. Medications can give you significant improvement in your condition. Best wishes.
