Hi! So pain in abdomen is a very general symptom, and has a lot of causes. If I take into consideration that this is post pregnancy, the causes are shortlisted. Hernia is only one such cause, but is not necessarily the reason for your wife having pain in her stomach. My sincere suggestion to you (if your wife is otherwise healthy, and has not had a hernia problem in the past) is that you consult her gynaecologist first who will rule out other causes of pain in abdomen and will suggest further course of action. However, if your wife has had hernia before, and you feel that it is a recurrence of hernia, then consult a general physician first, who will advise you on further course of treatment. If, after all the tests, the cause is relatively simple and you are comfortable with Homoeopathic treatment, please do contact me on practos chat platform or by other methods as given on my website- https://major-iengar-clinic.com I hope this answer was helpful, and I am happy  to have been of service to you. Regards, Dr. Kaavya @ Major Iengar Clinic

Pain in stomach do not mean hernia . First show to your gynaecologist for any other issues then she if finds it’s hernia then go to surgery

Hi please can you please make your question more elaborate. 1.If somebody only has hernia problem ,consult a surgeon 2.If pain in stomach post pregnancy (assuming as post delivery ),then depends when the delivery has taken place ,if recently then consult gynaecologist otherwise a gen surgeon.Post deliveries(C section)  incisional hernias are seen oftenly.Hope this helps.Do revert back if you have more queries.
