While Off-Meds
Hi,I have been taking Resperidone on and off for a while now. I know I might be dealing with Bipolar and Schizophrenia but last time I stopped taking Resperidone I ended up having anxiety and I am shocked by it. Then I again started taking the Resperidone Tablets And things are kinda stable now. But cuz of the Tablet I have ended up getting fat and and I might be losing my hair I think. Is there an alternative to that?

Hi You can always discuss with your doctor how the side effects of medications are troubling you...rather than stopping by yourself without discussing. Some disorders need longtime medications.. On n off taking of medication can worsen coarse  in terms  for example like  you might need higher doses to get stable or need multiple drugs to get better..it might take longer time to recover..etc Think would you stop Antihypertensive or Antidiabetic drugs without consulting doctor??
Next Steps
you need to discuss with the doctor about your side-effects  it's important for compliance
