White formation in tongue

Asked for Male, 29 Years

I brush my teeth and clean my tongue on a daily basis but despite that white formation takes place in my tongue and my lips get dry. It leads to bad breath . I have proper diet and not suffering from any sickness or cold

It is difficult to come with a specific diagnosis with the given history and the lesion would have to be seen and you would require further investigation to decide on the diagnosis, as of now it's most likely that you have an oral thrush which would require an anti fungal medicines to improve your situation. The following steps may help you: - Maintain good oral hygiene: Brush your teeth twice a day and floss daily. Change your brush regularly until the infection goes. - If you have dentures you should take extra care to keep it clean - Do salt water rinses and do not swallow, regularly do this atleast thrice a day
