Greying of hair is a normal aging process which starts around 30 as the melanocytes activity of the body slows down and gradually the melanin production in hair stops. If it is happening before this age, it is called premature greying. This can be genetic and also due to deficiency of essential vitamins and minerals. The hairs which have already turned white cannot be turned back to black. But you can delay the process of greying of hair by some lifestyle modifications. Take adequate sleep and drink lots of water, eat lots of fruits and green leafy vegetables. Few tablets can also be prescribed for the same. there is also one lotion which is supposed to work. You can call me or contact me using online consult option with photos for detailed prescription.

Premature greying of hair… also known as premature canities is increasingly common in general population since recent times. The cause could be multi-factorial and needs to be assessed. It could be genetic, environmental, stress-related, secondary to smoking, certain medications or some nutritional deficiencies. All these factors lead to underproduction of melanin that leads to grey or white hair. Practically, turning the grey here into black again is very difficult with medical treatment. However, with proper treatment you can avoid the progression of the problem and prevent further greying. Get an online consult privately with pictures or meet a dermatologist directly for a proper evaluation of the condition. Hope this was helpful.
