White patched on neck

Asked for Female, 33 Years

My wife have developed 2 white patched on het neck, color of these patch is one or two shades lighter than her regular skin color what could it be and what treatment shall be opt for

it could be a superficial fungal infection known as pityriasis versicolor. Without examination of the skin condition and knowing the extent of involvement.. along with this more information on ongoing medication or history of previous/current skin/systemic illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best.
