White spot on tonsil

Question

Asked for Male, 27 Years

There is a single white spot on tonsil for some days. When i try to touch it with swab a rice like same out. And the same happened after some days at same location. I am doing hot water gargle and with medicine . And I also feel there is something back at my mouth. There is not much pain . I have tonsillitis since childhood but not like this. It's not going away. There is some pain in ear too.. is this some kind of infection ?

The condition is caused by food particles sticking in tonsilar crypts. The condition is harmless and you shoud not worry about it. It can be prevented by regular saline gurgle and eating fruits which will brush away food particles from the crypts.
