Winged scapula
Hi, I have winged scapula on my left shoulder. Till now it has caused me no problem, but today after gymming ,i realize my left hand give up easily. What can i do to correct this scapula, restore strength and maintain good posture? I am not looking for any surgery, as scapula is not causing pain at all.

hello there. winging of scapula is caused by damage of a nerve called the long thoracic nerve which supplies a muscle called serratus anterior. consult a physiotherapist and follow the excercise prescribed by him. if it still remains, I'm afraid your next best option will be surgery. regards
