For the proper diagnoses you need to see a dentist and get you opg done so that proper angulation of the teeth can be seen and it will be marked the how will be the position in mouth
If the tooth is to erupt in proper position and wait for it eruption but if it's angulation will n wrong then go for removal of the wisdom tooth

Talk to experienced dentist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
1.Checking the position of the tooth by an x-ray..
2.If it is likely to erupt in correct position..then removal of the gum grown on it is enough.
3.If it seems to be in improper position(impacted)removal of tooth is suggested..as it may damage the adjacent tooth n tissues.
Wisdom teeth which are anything but in perfect orientation should be removed to prevent damage to adjacent teeth in short or long term. Get yourself assessed for the exact angulation of this particular tooth . Full jaw opg x-ray may be needed too
Unless the pain is tolerant no need of pain killers once it's very painful u need to start on antibiotics also along with a pain killer for 3to5days depending on condition . Visit dentist
