Wisdom tooth decay
My upper wisdom tooth develop cavity in a small area. I have sevire pain on gum and jaw and it is spreading. Can it be cured only by filling without removal of the tooth?

Hi Ma'am...if pain aggrevates means infection has spread from tooth to adjacent areas.kindly visit a dentist and get it removed at the earliest.Regards.

You have to get it checked .... an xray is required to know if only filling can help or not As u said you have severe pain which is not usual with a small cavity So an xray is required to know the extent of decay and decide the treatment plan
