Hi , firstly congratulations to going to be mom soon 😊 toothache during pregnancy sometimes really give hard time . But right now warm water with salt is ur best friend , do salt water gargles at least for 4 times a day & try to do some mouth exercise to relax your muscles . As concern about clove oil , I would say small amount of clove oil is ok but you should not use it frequently .
Next Steps
you should visit a dentist ASAP , so that your dentist can see clinically & will be able to help you accordingly. Thanks & all the best

Don't use clove oil or salt directly over the tooth or  gums. Gums will get affected. Mix salt in warm water and gargle well after meals and at night time. Don't allow the food particles to stay there. Pain may come down.
Next Steps
Consult your Dentist if problem persists.

Please avoid clove oil as much as possible as its a chemical irritant to the tissues over there (It just masks your pain by irritation). Use warm salt water gargle. Consult a dentist and GP and get some pain killers if infection is not there no need for antibiotics . Mostly pain is due to infection caused by food lodging there and also due to poor oral hygiene. Keep the area as clean as possible and maintain good oral hygiene. During pregnancy the hormonal changes makes you more vulnerable to gums issues after delivery everything will come to normal.

Don't try random cures without doctor's advice
