Worried for pneumonia. Please help.
* Low grade fever occasionally * Started off as cold or what I though was bronchitis Wednesday night * Coughing up very thick phlegm/mucous Friday-Saturday night * Sunday turned to dry persistent cough * Sunday night same cough but sometimes with some mucous if coughing hard enough, into very painful, back pain, chest pain when trying to take a deep breathe or coughing. * Pain worsens when exhaling * Fatigue and chills, I feel hot in my head but I’m freezing. * Loss of appetite * Now- Monday

Hi As fever and phlegm running for more than 5 days, take a chest Xray and phlegm test to rule out pneumonia. And you can know the type of infection. It will help to decide the Antibiotics.
