Yellow Teeth
I was a tobacco addict. I did chew tobacco for almost 7 years ciagrette, gutka and all. Now I've quit everything and would like to clean my teeth. I am not sure whether the yelloish teeth is because of tobacco stains or water effect. I am not visiting to any dentist because I am afraid as they will clean them on a temporary basis not on permanent basis. I already visited some dentist. They suggested me to go for bleaching . I am on doubt whether it will work 100 % or partially

Scaling and polishing is to remove tartar, plaque and superficial stains. The tobacco stains will come out with this. However if you want to remove inherent yellowing of teeth or change the colour to lighter then you have to go for bleaching. Effects of bleaching do not last more than a year.
