On 03 July 2017, my wife visited the doctor for my daughter's vaccination to be given at 10 weeks. Although, it was abundantly clear from my daughter’s vaccination card that she had already been given Hepatitis-B vaccination at the time of birth and at six weeks, but the doctor went ahead and gave third dose of Hepatitis-B at 10 weeks. I can understand your concern, regarding hepatitis B vaccination there are different schedules which can be followed. If your child has received 0,1,2 schedule it's ok but you will need 1extra dosing may be around between 6minths to 1year age. I know nobody wants that Extra prick to any child,but whatever happened has happened we have to move on. Hepatitis is the only vaccine where even if extra dose goes is not harmful to body. Please take care of yourself.
