I have gone to an ophthalmologist once when I was 14 and thought that vision glasses are cool. I lied to the doctor by telling her that I can't see in the corners, like when I look at something I just see that Clearly and everything around it is blurred. Now, As a 23 year old I think Why couldn't I come up with a lie that was more logical and makes sense. This was the second time I went to an ophthalmologist and was lucky to be consulted by Dr. Leena doshi. I had gone for a checkup which my current organisation had told me to do. after waiting for the doctor's appointment and thinking to find an answer to the question Why do people call Doctors gods, my name was called and I went inside. and suddenly a boy who wants to know everything being in a completely different line of work "Cabin crew" is amazed when he sees these amazing machines which are designed to see in somebody's eyes and make the professional see why they are not able to see. I go inside The room where Dr. Leena was assisting patients and she offered me a seat attached to the machine "Visual field analyser''. after the check was done the Nurse put a few eye drops in my eyes and asked me to wait for some time outside. I fall asleep, I open my eyes and my vision is seriously what I claimed it to me when I was 14… I can't see things close to me clearly and to see things which are at a good distance is also a task now. After seeing her patiently asking questions and assisting the gentleman she asked me to sit again on the chair, got done with the checkup and she is filling the ophthalmic case paper. At this moment I am Stopping myself to ask this question because I thought it to be a little off topic and was concerned about not wasting her time but I still asked her. isn't it interesting to be this close to science? it must take a lot of hard work to reach her. to which she replied that only one book has 26 editions and yes it is amazing to work as a doctor. Does the picture we see is formed in the brain or in the eye? I asked.the picture is formed in the retina and the brain analysis and make a judgement of it and perceives it. She was patient. She was humble.and she explained every off topic questions with an interesting and true answer. any other person sitting on that chair would have taken these questions lightly and would have thought I don't have time for this but Dr. Leena was quite the contrary. human beings like her leave an impact on other people's perception and make them realise that to be humble and grounded is a way to be.A way to live.thank you Doctor.Regards,Manthan chauhan.
I am an IT professional. Dr Leena is thorough professional and was able to resolve my eye issues and father's eye issues with minimum medication which was bothering me for a long time. I am very impressed and recommend it all and my family and friends.
Dr. Leena Doshi, did an amazing job putting me at ease and understanding my issue. She did a thorough testing and spent good amount of time, explaining the situation and the proposed treatment.
