During this tenure, she underwent training in minimal access surgery and was awarded FIAGES for the same. Subsequently, she pursued DNB in Surgical Oncology from Manipal Hospitals. She has in total of more than a decade of experience in general surgery and in the field of surgical oncology for more than half a decade.She performs not only simple general surgical and laparoscopic procedures but all advanced surgeries like • Breast conservation surgeries, Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), ROLL, Reverse axillary mapping/scintigraphy, Breast reconstruction after mastectomy in collaboration with her plastic surgical team etc.• She has been trained to handle complicated, advanced malignancies of an ovary, uterus/endometrium, colon etc.• She has received special training in performing major cytoreduction surgeries and HIPEC for peritoneal surface malignancies.

The patient ward facilities need to improve a lot they need to meet the expectations and the nurses need to be more educated they don’t know simple things that are very frustrating. The doctor is very nice and she knows how to talk. She has that personal touch. The suggestion she gave was helpful. I am satisfied meeting Dr. Monika.
