Dr. Rudra Prasad

Let me be very specific. I tore my ACL way back in 2017. I was in search of a good doctor to replace it for almost 3 years. i did my homework by researching websites, taking multiple consultations with 10+ orthopaedic surgeons, going to Udupi kasturba Manipal all the way from Bengaluru to meet the case expert and I even went to the extent of meeting Indian orthopedic association chairman. Eveywhere i heard only one name Dr. Rudraprasad! zeroing in on the doctor, i started my R&D right from his date of birth to his medical license number, his year of graduation, his awards accolade and what not. Finally after many years of painstaking research, money spent, it was crystal clear in my mind that, It was dr. rudraprasad, the doctor i should go for.. to much of my amazement he stayed just few blocks away from my home in Bengaluru!!

When i met him, it was all ease right from diagnosis of the issue to explanation of the problem.. Finally we fixed a date of surgery.. I had trusted him so much that, my anaesthetist told me i was murmuring his name during the surgery under the effect of sedation!

Surgery went very well with doctor showing me on camera the injury and explaining me the process of acl reconstruction to cater my curiosity..

any procedure is guaged by its after effect.. i had little pain once anesthesia went down, and i remember taking very few doses of painkiller thereafter.. 16 th day into surgery i got my stitches removed today (dr. rudraprasad removed it himself! generally doctors ask nurses to do it.. this shows doctors' concern towards his patients)..

ill tell you all readers that there is no pain without painkillers and im quickly on my road to recovery! I would like to conclude by this parting statement which is fixed in my brain now

PS: there is one problem when u got to meet the doctor. u need to be prepared to wait for long unless u got an appointment. since patient rush is huge for him

I underwent an ACL reconstruction and Partial Meniscectomy under him and I am recovering well. Its hardly been a month post surgery and I am able to walk fairly well.

We visited the doctor for my wife. We met Dr. Rudra Prasad and it was for health issue APL reconstruction and it was a follow-up visit. The doctor is a fantastic person and an amazing doctor. I am satisfied with the treatment given. I can recommend the doctor to my family or friends. It was a normal consultation we went to. Now my wife is fine.

I had been to the doctor as I had Ortho related issues. I had ligament related treatment. Doctor was very good and he treated well. I was comfortable with the doctor. He suggested doing surgery. Medicines were not prescribed. I am fine now. I am satisfied with the treatment given. I even suggested other doctors. They told not to do surgery. I can recommend the doctor to my family or friends if anyone asks. The doctor was very casual and it was good.

Went to show my daughter's Mallet finger. He overlooked and said nothing to worry, everything is fine. When we said its bent(tip of the finger), he said nothing can be done. Either go for surgery or functionally its fine you leave it like that. He was very impatient, not willing to treat the finger even with splint. Sounds very arrogant and not friendly.

Met the doctor and it was for my son. He had ortho related treatment. The doctor was good. The exercise was suggested. Waiting time was there for nearly 45 minutes. I am satisfied with the treatment given. My son is fine now. I can recommend the doctor to my family or friends. I can rate the doctor 5/5 for his treatment.

We had visited the hospital for my son. He had health issues related to orthopedic issues. Treatment was fine. Physiotherapy was suggested to him. Treatment is ongoing currently. The exercise was suggested and he is doing it. Waiting time was there. Once in 6-9 months, we visit doctor. I am satisfied with the treatment given. I can recommend the doctor to my family or friends. I can rate the doctor 4/5. We need to go again after booking an appointment after a couple of months.

Dr. Rudrapasad is very friendly and his treatment and detection of problem is perfect. I took my mother as she had knee pain and doctor explained the exercises and medication very well. My mother is feeling much better now.
