I'm not a person who usually lashes out on doctors considering how noble their services are, especially during the current scenario. However, the incident that took place two days ago is forcing me to do so here so that nobody else has the same experience as I did. I called Fortis Bannerghatta road around 7:30 am and found that the first doctor to come in OPD was Dr Sudha Menon. Even though I didn't consult her before, I went ahead with it because I had chills the night before and was terrified. When I searched online she had good experience too.
She came in around 10:20 even if the receptionist had told me that she'll come by 8:30. She was on rounds, but the receptionist hadn't mentioned it when I called. So i had to wait for almost two hrs for the doctor in the cold ac hallway even though I was really weak and sick.
After two hours of wait, I got in with my friend. The doctor had a younger assistant doctor. I was covid positive in April 2021 since the person I was living with works in the healthcare field and I got it from him. As soon as the doctor got to know that, and since I had a fever, cough and runny nose this time too...she established that I had covid. In the examination, my throat was clear, I had no pain in the pressure points, I had no breathing troubles, and I had taste. I had also told her that I got sick after I got exposed to dust mites which I'm extremely allergic to since childhood. But she said nobody gets a fever because of allergy. * **** **** ***** *** *** *** ********* ***** ** ********* *** ***** ********** **** *** **** ** ******* ****** ***** ******** ******** ** *** *** ** **** *** ** ***** ******* It's not the first time, I've fallen sick this way atleast 20 times since I was a child. I've consulted many doctors during these times too. But I couldn't tell her anything because she was already sort of rude and she shut me up saying I was not responsible for getting a "respiratory" infection for the second time. Even though I clearly said I had no problem with my respiration except for regular blocked nose and phlem. She kept blaming me throughout the ten minutes I was in there. I felt like getting up and storming out. But I didn't out of respect for doctors. And guess what? My results came negative. It's just a common cold and fever. **** *** **** **** *** ****** *** ********* *** ********* *** ***** ** ** ******* *** ******* * *** ***** *** *** ************ **** **** ****** ******* *********** ** *********** ********** **** *** ******* ** ***** **** *** ** ** **** ** **** *** ****** ********* ******* ** ******** ***** ***** *** *********** ******* **** ****** *** ******
I paid 6000+ rupees for the consultation and tests just because I wanted to make sure I didn't have covid. But this is the service and quality of consultation I get from Fortis's senior doctor.
I hope if Dr Sudha reads this, she realises it's not right to judge her patients behaviour and moral responsibility without knowing the whole story. The pandemic situation has been difficult for all and doctors know it better than anyone else. Even though I know it's hard to be kind at times, please don't behave this way when someone's in pain and seeks your help and that too paying a hefty amount for the services.

So, I booked it for my mother's knee pain, the price was 650, a little high but okay.
So, I got around three notification on the date of the appointment to be on time at 11.30 am . So, I booked the cab for my parents at around 10:45am so that they reach by 11:15am. And they did.
And guess what when did the doctor arrive? 11.45am? 12 noon? 12.30?
No, he arrived at 1.05pm.
He arrived at his chamber at 1.05pm.
And what is worse is Fortis's care. Nobody cares, my parents sat there in front of his cabin and waited and waited thinking he must be seeing someone in the cabin and not to disturb, and finally after an hour they decided to check inside the cabin and nobody was there. Then they asked someone at reception and they said they will check. ** **** * ***** ***** ********* ******* *** **** ** ** ******* ***** ******* so the doctor saw them and asked them for the xray, which costs 950 for the record just for one knee at fortis, **** ** *** * *** *** ***** **** * **** **** ** **** ** *** ********* ** *****
Now let me describe the xray process at Fortis, *** ***** ****** ** the reception will be very helpful during registration and taking your money and after that you are on your own. They directed them to some room where there is no soul present. And they are waiting there thinking what to do. After 5 minutes someone comes, asks her to keep one leg up and vanishes for 10 minutes. I mean, do you want to cause pain to the patient or do you want to eliminate the pain?
The nurse comes back takes xray and directs you to some other room. And guess what? There is no one in that room as well. And my parents wondering what to do now..
And now they are back with the Xray results and when arrive near doctor's cabin. He is again not there.. can you believe it? Was he really sorry for being late the first time? I don't think so.
Overall not recommended.

Words fall short to describe how grateful I am to Doctor Gayatri. She is always confident, positive, and possesses great expertise. There are long queues for her appointments - the wait can be frustrating but believe me, it is all worth it. She is indispensable and hence is always in and out of OT which makes the waiting time for OPD appointments longer at times. I had a fairly easy pregnancy with gestational diabetes. Doctor Gayatri motivated me throughout to follow a strict diet to control GD and continue working out up until the very day I went into labor. She always encouraged normal delivery and explained in great detail all the options available for pain relief during delivery. She also described the backup plan regarding induced labour due to GD if the labour does not start within full term. I went into labour late Sunday night and started panicking a bit as I knew she will not be available. The on call duty gynac checked my contractions and monitored overnight accordingly. When I went into active labour in the morning, in a matter of a few minutes Doctor Gayatri was by my side. She came in at the most crucial juncture and guided me excellently regarding when and how to push without wasting my energy. Because of her, my family and I were blessed with a healthy baby boy on March 4, 2024. She is most humble - when I expressed my gratitude towards her she credited me instead for being a wonderful and cooperative patient. She is a patient’s dream, inspires trust and without a doubt I would recommend everyone to consult her. Besides her normal doctor duties, she is also an exceptional speaker and delivers great online and in-person sessions regarding pregnancy. If you are in doubt, just watch one of her videos and you will never doubt your choice again.
Visited Dr. Deshpande V Rajakumar (Neurosurgeon) For Spine Surgery
I had been experiencing chronic back pain and nerve pain in my left leg for the last 5 years. I had tried physio, acupressure, acupuncture, chiropractic work, steroid injections, dry needling, cupping etc. Nothing helped me relieve my back pain. I visited several doctors in several cities, and I couldn’t find an answer or solution to my issue. Thankfully, I got to know about Dr. Rajkumar through an acquaintance. ** ** *** **** ** ***** **** ** ************ From the first visit, he instilled so much confidence and positivity in me. He had a look at my MRI reports and suggested a lumbar spinal fusion. I had so much faith in him from the first day itself. He is so patient, considerate, empathetic towards the patient, that half your pain will disappear post an OPD consult itself. Today, I’m 5 weeks post op with ZERO back pain. The nerve pain is still there (slight) as the nerve that was compressed is still healing. I can’t rave enough about Dr. Rajkumar. He is THE BEST. Additionally, I’d like to thank his team – Dr. Murali & Dr. Karuna who were fabulous as well.
A huge thank you to FORTIS HOSPITAL, Bannerghata. The 3 days that I spent there post op - I fell in love with that hospital. During the COVID times, they have taken such good precautions from social distancing to hygiene and sanitisation practices. From the food, to the housekeeping – EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. Tbh, I didn’t want to go back home. Thank you to my nurses in the ICU – Sister Kala, Sister Manju and Sister Anthoniammal and the others. Spine surgery can be pretty painful, but the care that Fortis gave me, it made me feel safe and cared for. From the bottom of my heart – THANK YOU team.

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I had the opportunity to meet Dr Manisha Singh for my sister's fibroids and dermoid cyst consultation. Dr Manisha was very patient and spent a significant amount of time to understand our background, concern we came with and got around to explaining the problem we were dealing (with drawings) and the solution options. She took time to answer all our questions and I remember barging into her office couple of times after with more questions and every time she and her team obliged. Five months later we finally got a Hysterectomy done for my sister. We were explained the process, had a rep sent in for blood work, had a smooth enrollment with Fortis and prep for the actual day. I remember sitting outside the OT (operation theater) very nervous because part of the surgery involved sending the tumor for biopsy and depending on the outcome the surgery could take longer and get complicated. The surgery went well, and Dr Manisha spoke to me after and immediately put me at ease. Her team – Dr Roopa, the nurse team, receptionist ‘Ms Sudipta’ – kept me assured throughout the surgery. My sister is recovering now, and she is very happy with the pre/post-surgery care given to her and so am I. To sum it up - Dr Manisha is very skilled and experienced doctor/surgeon with amazing bedside manner and above all she a very motivating person who pushes her patients towards positive outlook/outcome. She leads an amazing group of women – doctors, nurses and support staff and I remember mentioning it to her - how empowering that made me feel as a woman. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a capable doctor for wholistic care and peace of mind. Thank-you so much for everything!!!

I am sharing the feedback on behalf of my father, Asoke Goswami, his age is 69 years. My father has been suffering from knee pain for the last 12 years. Though we have taken consultation from an Orthopedic surgeon 12 years back and knee replacement operation has been proposed because of Osteoarthritis. My father was not ready for a knee replacement operation till Feb’22. His conception was that he may not walk properly after his operation because of his old age. He was using painkillers medicine very frequently without informing us. On Feb '22, his pain was intolerable and the painkiller medicine was not working as per expectation. That’s why we decided on the operation.
We are extremely fortunate that we are able to manage an appointment with Dr. Rajashekhar K T who is a specialist in Knee Replacement Surgery at Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore Fortis Hospital. The doctor operated on my father’s both legs with a single hospitalization duration of 8 days, though my father is having complications like Blood Sugar, High Blood Pressure, Kidney & Prostate Issue. I am literally happy to see my father that within 45 days after the operation, my father is walking 2 KM/DAY without any support. He did not feel any pain. The medicine stooped almost 15 days back. I can say we got the best treatment in Bangalore from a world-class doctor with a class -1 hospital within my budget with a limited timeline.
We are thankful to the doctor Rajashekhar K T that he has given a new life to my father in his 69 years of age where my father can walk properly without any support without any pain.

I had been suffering pain in both my knees for nearly a decade. Let alone walk, even standing for a few seconds was excruciatingly difficult. The fear of pain and the lack of clarity on the recovery after surgery made me postpone taking any action for relief till now. Also, I did not know how to decide on the surgeon whom I could trust and be rest assured that I would be able to walk again without pain.
After a lot of research and asking around, I met Dr. Rajasekhar K T at Fortis, BG Road. That single meeting was enough for me to be convinced that I am in good hands. X-rays and other diagnosis had revealed that though both my knees required surgery, the damage in the left one was quite intense.
I went ahead with the the joint replacement surgery of both my knees with a gap of 4 days between the two. Apparently, the surgery in the left knee was a very difficult one, as was described by several doctors present during the surgery. However, on both the days of the surgeries, I could walk a few steps on the day itself. I was in the hospital for a total of 9 days. Although there was post-operative pain and discomfort, I was very well taken care of.
It has been over a month now. My stitches came off after 15 days of the surgeries. I am continuing with physiotherapy and diet control and I am experiencing a noticeable difference in my mobility. Even after I was back home, any time I had a query or a concern, Dr Rajashekhar was always there, just a whatsapp message away. This was a huge support as any new development would make me worried. He would reassure me and prescribe medicines if any was required.
If you are suffering because of damaged knees, I highly recommend that you must consult an orthopedic surgeon immediately and if you are in Bangalore, based on my experience I can say quite definitively that you need not look anywhere beyond Dr. Rajashekhar K T.

After undergoing 6 to 7 years of treatment for infertility across multiple hospitals with no successful outcomes, we reached a point of despair. However, we decided to consult Dr. Manisha as a final ray of hope. During our initial meeting, Dr. Manisha displayed a positive attitude and provided a comprehensive explanation of our situation and the potential options. Encouraged by her confidence, we embarked on the treatment journey, which involved various procedures such as scans, injections, and tube block testing for my wife. Unfortunately, despite having previous test reports, we were subjected to redundant tests* ***** **** ************ Additionally, some visits ended with the scheduling of the next appointment without Dr. Manisha reviewing the blood test reports, despite my request to limit tests to only what was essential. Furthermore, we were instructed to undergo vaccinations twice, complying with the recommendations.
Initially, we approached Dr. Manisha for IVF with donor eggs, but she emphasized the importance of using my wife's own eggs, expressing doubts about accepting donor eggs. She exhibited unwavering confidence, assuring us that even if she obtained just one follicle, success was within reach. However, after three months of continuous visits and treatment, there was no sign of progress. We were informed to return for post-treatment tests and results, which unfortunately turned out to be negative. Despite this setback, we held onto hope that Dr. Manisha would guide us towards alternative paths to achieve a positive outcome. To our surprise, she contradicted the opinions of previous doctors by stating that my wife would not be able to conceive using her own eggs. When I mentioned what other doctors had advised, she criticized their perspectives. Ultimately, without offering any further suggestions or recommendations, we were sent away feeling bewildered about the ******* ** *** treatments **** ******* ** *******.

Overall, our experience with Dr. Manisha was disheartening, as her demeanor and approach differed greatly between our initial meeting and the last appointment.
