Dear doctor, Age of my baby is 5 week Can I give him Air conditioning ? Is it any harm to give mild AC to baby ? Thanks

Yes you can switch on ac but temperature should not be below 26c...

You can keep the baby In the AC between 25-27 deg

You can use but should maintain temperature range between 25-28 Try to keep the baby away from direct blow of air Suddenly taking your baby out from the cool temperature to the hot atmosphere might affect him/her adversely. It’s always better you switch off the AC and wait for some time so that he/she gets used to the outside temperature before stepping out. Since the dust and other toxic items collected in the ac filters may harm the baby, it is best to get your AC serviced and cleaned at regular intervals. Apply baby moisturizer at regular intervals to keep skin smooth. This will help balance the dryness in the air.
