10 year old son has eczma on arms
Has it for 2 months now. Used E45 but was to painfull fir his so exchange to Epaderm oitment. Looks like in one day that goes off and next day stays the same. It is very itchy and he can't control scratching it. Don't kniw have to help him. Has got eczma before. From birth till 3 years old. Then few times on hands from soaps in school.

From your description, I think he has atopic eczema which is common in children. Avoid using harsh soap. Use soaps only once in 2 or 3 days. Acute episodes of atopic dermatitis needs steorids creams and if severe steroid tablets. Later moisturizer can keep it under control.
