3 doses of anti rabies vaccine
I was scratched by nails of a stray dog. Doctor said its not a matter of concern but still for safety he told me to get 3 doses of Verorab IM on day 0, 3 and 7.
I have completed my respective doses.
However, I have read that anti rabies vaccine treatment is 5 doses on 0,3,7,14,28 days.
But my doctor precribed me to get only 3 doses.
Is it enough or I need to get 2 more doses on day 14 and 28?

Share picture , so i can define, whichever category it suits? Sometime it need only 3 dose and sometimes 5 complete dose depending upon dog bite or scratches.

For a scratch like that 3 doses are enough, had it been a bite your doctor would have prescribed you 5 doses.
