3rd trimester
Hi, I just woke up with fruity taste in my mouth, I started googling about it, shows it could be a symptom of diabetes or epilepsy, so I was worried and checked at glucose Monitoring which showed 126 post meal after nearly about 2:30 hrs, I just wanted to know is this start of gestational diabetes? Because my all earlier test were clear for diabetes, I am 31 weeks pregnant now please anyone guide, had blood test before 4 weeks everything was fine, will have my all blood test again in next week before my scan.

Consult your Gynaecologist. It is better to get six samples of blood sugar tested: Fasting, 2 hours after Breakfast Before Lunch, 2 hours after lunch Before Dinner, 2 hours after dinner. You will know whether you are diabetic, and if so your control of diabetes.
