6300 Beta HCG score with nothing in USG
Hi,
My wife ia having beta HCG score of 6300. This score doubled for every 48 hours before.
Since she forgot the last period date we are not sure how many weeks.
As per latest USG nothing was visible in support of tubal pregnancy but no sac was seen or not clear for intrauterine pregnancy.
We are worried and confused. Is it early for USG or is it tubal pregnancy . Please advise

Did the urine pregnancy test come positive?
were the periods for your wife regular prior?
The sensitivity of HcG is less in initial phase of pregnancy.
if you have performed USG, adn there is no evidence of pregnancy then usually sonography is quote specific.

in Case Beta HcG keeps on increasing inspite of absence of pregnancy it could be a molar pregnancy
