7th week pregnancy no heart beat found
1st ultrasound scan was done in 6th week there was no heart beat to baby and 2nd one is done in 7th week, the doctor says no fetal development and the heart beat of the baby couldn't be heard. There is a normal gestational sac in the womb but when the ultrasound was done no heart beat of baby could be found. There was no problem in regular menstruation. Doctor says since there is a normal gestational sac can be waited for 10 more days. Is it abnormal not to develop a baby till 7th week of pregnancy? What are the chances that the baby development after 10th week? If the fetal development happens after 10th week, will the baby be healthy?
