A depression with self harm
I may be suffering depression or borderline personality disorder I have a history of sexual abuse And i self harm myself when situation isn't controlled by me I self harm myself When i try to talk they say depression isn't a big thing you need to grow up that make me realise that I shouldn't seek psychatrist I m always determined to hurt people who are out to hurt me Mostly i doubt family members that they would hurt me so I m always ready with plans I also get breakdowns What should I do? Am I really suffering or as just people say I am being child

Welcome to this forum! Firstly, who diagnosed you? Depression is an illness just invisible. Mental health is as important as physical health. Days that we are physically ill we cant function and more so when feeling unwell mentally. Many people disregard psychiatric illnesses and suffer in silence. It’s good that you’re seeking help. Depression is treated with medicine and counselling.
