My cousin is pregnant for 10 days as she has checked at home. Now she doesn't want to keep it further. Is it possible to abort it through medicine? Or she would have to go through traditional way of abortion. Please suggest.

Hello,
Since the pregnancy is within 7 weeks, she can undergo abortion medically. Consult a gynecologist who will prescribe you medicines to induce abortion.

Talk to experienced gynaecologist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
She will have to get an ultrasound,CBC and Blood group test. And depending upon the weeks of gestation on ultrasound decision can be made whether medical or surgical treatment can be advisable.
Ultrasound will also help to rule out ectopic pregnancy, just in case, which is a serious condition.
She should consult a gynaec.Sooner the better.
She needs to have a check up first and probably a Ultrasound to know the precise weeks of gestation, after that a decision on medical or surgical abortion can be made.
