Acid reflux and mouth issues
Since childhood, I've experienced minor digestive issues, including occasional regurgitation of food particles (such as egg white, cucumber seeds, and solid pieces of meat). I also struggle with gas and acidity, and I'm increasingly troubled by acid reflux. Recently, I've noticed stains on my tongue and inside my mouth, which I suspect are related to the reflux. Could you please suggest potential long-term solutions?

Your long-standing digestive issues, acid reflux, and recent mouth stains suggest gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), possibly linked to food sensitivities, digestive enzyme imbalances, or an underlying condition like gastritis or H. pylori infection. Long-Term Solutions: 1. Diet Modifications: Avoid spicy, fried, and acidic foods (tomatoes, citrus, coffee, alcohol). Reduce dairy and foods that trigger regurgitation. Eat smaller, frequent meals instead of large ones. 2. Lifestyle Changes: Avoid lying down immediately after eating (wait at least 2-3 hours). Elevate your head while sleeping. Drink plenty of water and chew food thoroughly. 3. Medical Treatment: Antacids or proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) may be required for acid control. A thorough gut health evaluation is necessary to check for infections or enzyme deficiencies. Since you’ve had these symptoms for years, I strongly recommend a detailed consultation to identify the exact cause and prevent complications.
