Reasons for inability to bend your knee should be looked out for by proper clinical examination and then can the solution for your problem be given to you. If the stiffness is due to structures inside the knee, you would benefit with a surgery.. Else even physiotherapy can help you increase the range some more.

Hello! After an ACL and meniscus surgery, it's common to have difficulty with knee range of motion, especially in the first few months of recovery. However, after 6 months, if you are still unable to fully bend your knee, it's important to talk to your surgeon about your concerns. The inability to fully bend your knee could be due to several reasons, such as: Cyclops lesion: This is a rare complication that can occur after ACL surgery where scar tissue develops in the knee joint, forming a firm nodule. This can limit the knee's range of motion and cause pain. Adhesions: Scar tissue can also form in the knee joint after surgery, causing adhesions. This can lead to stiffness and difficulty with knee range of motion. Imbalance of muscles: The muscles around the knee may not be working together correctly, leading to a muscle imbalance that affects the knee's range of motion. Knee joint swelling: Swelling in the knee joint can also limit range of motion. A physical therapist can help you with exercises to improve your knee range of motion. However, if the issue is due to a cyclops lesion, surgical intervention may be required. I would recommend consulting with your surgeon for a thorough evaluation and to discuss the best course of action.
