I assume you are more than few weeks post surgery. Regaining complete strength to pre injury levels takes time. You need to concentrate on improving the strength in quads and glutes. Its important to not overstep your abilities in this process. Usually it takes 4- 6 months time frame for many patients to completely get back to preinjury level of activity
