Acne vulgaris
Hello m 27 yr old mother... from last 1 month...I have severe acne postules... painful, itching, burning..many black head n white head also.(oily, sensitive skin I have)..m taking homeopath medicine for same from last week...it is effective...I feel slightly better...but acne size is really big...for black head n white head...can I take some topical or in clinic treatment for same.
If yes kindly give me an idea of charges.

The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

The severity of acne dictates the choice of treatment. In the early grades of acne even the cream might suffice however in moderate to higher grades tablets also need to be taken. The treatment has to be continued for a few months otherwise the pimples would tend to return easily. Kindly do not self medicate without professional advice as that could further damage your skin.
