The teeth will need to be examined for any cracks or mobility. Xrays may have to be taken. Composite build up of the tooth is possible depending upon the extent of fracture. If the nerve is involved, root canal treatment may have to be done. Long term observation of the tooth advised.

If your child has broken a tooth, it's important to consult a pediatric dentist as soon as possible. Dental treatment for children can vary depending on factors like the extent of the damage, the child's age, and the specific tooth affected. In some cases, if a young child breaks a primary (baby) tooth, the dentist might not recommend extensive treatment like applying cement. Primary teeth eventually fall out on their own, and the focus is often on ensuring the child's comfort and preventing infection. If a child breaks a permanent tooth, the dentist will assess the situation and determine the appropriate course of action, which might include applying dental cement or other treatments. The best course of action is to schedule an appointment with a pediatric dentist. They can evaluate the situation, provide proper guidance, and recommend any necessary treatment to ensure the well-being of your child's dental health.

Please get the tooth restored. Else you may face other difficulties in future. Cements applied over tooth to fill cavities or build tooth structures are safe and tooth coloured. Don’t worry and get the treatment done.
