Clinical Depression

I believe Im undergoing depression. Have had suicidal thoughts for a long time but didnt have the courage to opt for one. Self harm is often. Trouble in sleeping and always tired. Sleep is never enough for me however long I sleep. Excessive crying and feeling of helplessness and agitation most of the times. Did not realize all of this until fell sick recently and was diagnosed with high uric acid, low haemoglobin, mild bilateral pleural effusion and high blood pressure. Haemoglobin and uric acid level were taken care of but still having high blood pressure. Head is aching most of the time and having concentration issues.

I understand your concern , at a young age what you are going through is really a vulnerable state .but you will be alright .Don't panic .And tell someone you are close to ,  that you are into this state I would recommend you that since you are too emotionally unstable , you may not be able to come out of this on your own. Don't get captured with suicidal thoughts , everything will be fine , Also you will come out if this definitely , nothing is permanent. Immediately you need to see a  counselor. Besides that at  home: Stay more and may be also sleep with a friend or relative with whom you are comfortable sharing your talks Try to activate yourself Get enrolled into other hobbies , may be you can't focus on them, still try Believe that you will be fine , don't panic , never think of suicide , we are here to pull you out of your problems . Pl approach a counselor , we need to understand  and identify the roots from where you have reached this state. I also give online sessions, face to face and in special case , I hv home visits. All your symptoms clearly suggest about depression however detail history and evaluation required to confirm it. Dont worry it can be treated easily with proper counseling and medication. Consult a qualified psychiatrist nearby or online so that thorough evaluation is done and accordingly treatment can be suggested.
